Introduction to the RYA Safe and Fun Course
At the Lincoln & District Sailing Association, the safety and wellbeing of young people are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to offer the RYA Safe and Fun course—an essential online training programme for anyone working with children or vulnerable adults in a sailing or watersports environment.
This course is a prerequisite for RYA instructors and volunteers, covering safeguarding best practices, how to recognise concerns, and how to respond appropriately. Whether you're a new volunteer or a seasoned coach, Safe and Fun ensures you’re equipped with the knowledge to foster a safe, supportive environment both on and off the water.
Easy to complete online and designed to fit around your schedule, the RYA Safe and Fun course helps reinforce our collective responsibility to keep sailing a positive experience for all.
