RYA Swim Safe

The free RYA Swim Safe sessions, designed by the RNLI and Swim England, and ran by qualified RYA instructors, aim to increase awareness of water safety and boost confidence around open water.

The session will guide young people through the Water Safety Code and allow them to practise key survival techniques in the water, all while wearing a buoyancy aid and under the watchful eye of the instructors.

Our access road is adjacent to the Fox and Hounds pub (signed 'Sailing Club'). Follow the track around the lake to the Sailing Club compound.

What to Bring?

• Shorts & Tshirt - Wetsuits provided if necessary
• Old trainers or wet shoes
• Towel
• Full change of clothes including shoes
• Hat and Suncream
• Bottle of water
